Features and steps depend on the model and firmware.

Follow your current stage. If the wizard’s model-specific instructions differ, follow your exact installation and contact support.

Clarify the script

Check that the problem is related to the termination of the background application when switching to the player.

Check the result: You know what kind of service is interrupted.

Open the model settings

In the supported adaptation, find the background setting according to the instructions of your model. Read the hint and select the desired mode.

Check the result: The set-up mode is applied.

Repeat the viewing

Launch the desired service, then the player and check the work.

Check the result: You know if the setup helped.

DONE

Expected result

The desired service continues to work in the supported scenario.

If it didn’t work

If there is no option or the error persists, pass the model, firmware and application names to support. Do not use instructions from another model.

Frequently asked questions

What does the background app setting do?

It lets required media services keep running when you open another app. Supported JMGO adaptations include a background-operation setting, useful for TorServer, for example. Check this feature’s availability and behavior for your exact model and firmware.
